MASTERING THE WHOLE TECHNOLOGY
We operate a comprehensive in-house technological setup, encompassing laboratories, photobioreactors, fermenters, and open ponds. Our photobioreactors, with a capacity of 600,000 liters and a total length of 500 km of glass tubes, were first installed in 1999 as part of Europe’s inaugural industrial-scale microalgae farm. In 2010, we expanded our capabilities with fermenters and further in 2019 with open pond systems. This extensive technological range allows us to tailor processes to meet the specific needs of customers across various industries and organizational sizes.
COLLECTING STRAINS SINCE 2000
As the first European producer of industrial-scale microalgae, we have developed a unique strain collection with optimized protocols and media selection. This positions us as an ideal partner for developing and manufacturing microalgae-based products. We provide valuable insights and solutions to key players in the biotech, colorants, cosmetics, feed, food, pharmaceuticals, and textile industries. Currently, we commercialize over a dozen different microalgae species and strains using various technologies, including photobioreactors, open ponds, and fermenters.
